Moon ,Jupiter and Saturn will hung together and will be visible on 12th of May, Here is how to spot It ;)
Stargazing these days, has been nothing sort of an adventure as spotting constellations has never been easier(due to lack of pollution). Out of few things the beautiful clear sky has to offer these days, one rather exciting event is here. Last month, in a spectacular event Jupiter, Saturn, mars and the Moon hung close together for three days! Now the Moon is back to hanging out with Jupiter this month and you do not require telescope to see them together.
On May 12, 2020 Saturn, Jupiter and Moon will be aligned together in the sky and be close enough to witnessed without the use of telescope. The phenomenon will be visible after the midnight to dawn in the south-southeastern sky. This rare astronomical occurrence is called as a Conjunction.
Paul Delaney, an astronomy professor at New-York University revealed that Saturn, Jupiter and Moon coming together could very much look like a smiley face.
So mark the date- May 12, see the moon, Jupiter and Saturn huddled together in the predawn sky.go out to your balcony or to terrace and check out the biggest planet(Jupiter) hanging out with our Moon and Saturn. However it will not be visible before 2:00 AM to the naked Eye and will lost to dawn twilight around 5:04 AM.
